BE WARNED!!!! You will hear and see some of the best music ever down below.
All songs/albums are presented by order written; The order does NOT determine the quality and/or rating of the songs/albums.
Oh, where do I even start...
Bladee, Ecco2k, Thaiboy Digital, and everyone else in DG created some of the best music (personally) in the modern era. Sure, some of their songs aren't as good as the others, but they deserve some appreciation for the numerous bangers they dropped over the years.
This guy is probably one of the main pioneers in the electric industry; His music doesn't really fit into one category, rather it is a whole seperate category by itself. His music changed the way I experience life; The vocals, electronics, and unique sound effects all collide into beautiful masterpieces.
Alongside that, he also creates visuals and a whole universe where a wide variety of animals and music thrive. I would put every single one of his songs on this list, but these were the ones that stuck out to me the most:
The wide variety of genres that they make is one of the main reasons why I was interested in Rory; The fact that every single song is unique and vibrant makes a plesant feeling of energy or makes you feel sad and desperate.
They also upload a song every sixth (or seventh) of each month, which gives me anticipation on what they'll post. Sometimes it could be some song with 200bpm and crazy breaks, other times it'll be slow and melodic. You never really know what you'll hear from them each month.
It's hard explaining to most people why Rory in Early 20s is much a good artist in just words, you have to listen yourself to get the true experience.
My personal favorites:Conlee's one of the more niche artists on this list, but they make some of the most relaxing music to just study and sleep to. The smooth instrumentals and strong 808s gives a strong, warming feeling when you listen to their music.
Even though most their music's the same style, each and every song is unique in its own way; It's almost like each song sends a different message to the listener.
My personal favorites:Abe M's second account on Soundcloud has some of the most unique songs I have heard; When I listened to 2-20 during the pandemic, it just blew my mind. No other song I had listened to (at the time) was like it, it's almost like seeing a new dimensions for the first time.
Most of his music here is derived from samples, but don't let that deteriate the value of his music. Each song has its own unique feeling, that any other song cannot recreate.
My personal favorites:more reviews are yet to come...
Being able to help out someone else is probably one of the best feelings that someone could have; The thought of helping someone else out that's in need just feels so good. It's really hard to describe into words, similar to how you can't describe color to someone who's born blind.
In a way, I have somewhat of a love-hate relationship with that feeling; It feels awful not being able to help someone out when they're in a horrible situation. I wish kids or people in a adolescence age are taught some basic skills on how to help others; Sure, it doesn't seem useful to a handful of people, but I genuinely feel like it would make the world a better place if people knew how to give advice to others that need it.
I'm not the best at giving out advice but I refuse to be like: "nah, sorry I can't help you with that". I think that giving a little bit of help is better than just not helping at all at the very least.
The internet is probably one of the best gifts when it comes to these situations, surprisingly many other people experience similar situations and give out pretty good advice to help others going through the same thing. It's so nice and reassuring that other people on the internet want to help others as well as recieve advice from problems they experience in their day-to-day life.
I think the moral of this blog is to help others in need and to educate yourself in your weakest areas; Hopefully this blog awoken something in you or at least entertained you, thanks for reading!!!!!
First of all to my American audience, happy fourth of July! I'm also writing this at 8pm, so its probably way past the fourth or maybe even months past July, oh well...
I was on a pretty long road trip not too long recently; On the way back it got me thinking, how many people truly know the area around them?
So many people pass by the same buildings every day, seven days a week. Since it doesn't affect their life in a major way, each of those buildings gets ignored in a way, where the precense of each building is recognized but not appreciated, or rather not noticed at all.
Thinking about this, I been starting to notice the smaller details of the buildings I pass by during my day-to-day basis, like the "Now Hiring" posters on the wall and the garden decorations that people put on their front lawn. In a way, it makes me somewhat appreciate the area I live in a little bit more and informs me a little bit more about the people who live around me, which I think is pretty cool haha
One of my favorite quotes is from 3Blue1Brown, a math teacher on YouTube, where he says to "Never underestimate the influence you have on others" (link), I would highly consider watching the speech if you got some spare time btw :3
As I was saying, imagine you're in a game of Rock Paper Scissors, and your opponent says they're going rock. If they were silent, you would've chose a option based on your instincts; However, since they told you they were going rock, your train of thought would've been different. You could either listen to your opponent, going paper or do the opposite and go rock, assuming your opponent's on scissors. This is one of the examples I could think of, but there's many more out there that show similar results.
My memory's been pretty bad recently, but there have been some moments that have stuck with me for many months, some even years ago; From smaller things like saying something stupid mid-conversation to larger things like messing up the dye of my clothes, anything could be a huge influence to my life.
Those are just some of the experience I could think of on the top of my head, but I'm sure that there's many more of these kind of experiences that influence other people's lives. Anyways, hopefully you found this blog "inspirational" or "mind-opening", thanks for reading!
When I was younger, my main hobby was just playing video games, some of them including: Minecraft, Geometry Dash, Lego Ninjago, Bloons TD Battles, and a few more that I don't remember. I definitely had hella fun collecting medallions and making my base stacked in Minecraft, but I don't really get much in the present from those games.
I don't wanna sound like a boomer, but people should found a hobby that, at the very least, have a outcome where the product can be tangable (digitally or physically). Even today, I still play a unhealthy amount of video games often. I might not be the most qualified to say to "get a useful" hobby, but I believe that anything could be converted to a meaningful hobby.
For example, look at my youtube channel; One of the main reasons why I continue to play video games is to farm clips to edit for my youtube channel. Sure, it might not be the best use of my time, but it converts my massive playtime on games into videos that others can watch.
Hopefully these paragraphs give you inspiration to start something interesting! Let me know how your journey goes :D
beautiful moment of history right here
i can't explain how enthusiastic i have been for the past month to experience this moment (it's really enthusiastic if you haven't figured it out)
TL;DR: I believe that changing the way people tip waiters will help increase business for restaurants and provide a better experience for customers.
Tipping is the act of showing generosity to your waiter by giving money as a way to reward them for their services.
In America, it is normalized to pay your waiter a certain amount of money, typically based on how well they have served you during your time at a restaurant. It has gotten to the point where tipping is considered "normalized", making it feel like people are obligated to pay waiters at least 15-20% extra on top of their bill.
I personally think that this normalization of tipping waiters in America isn't really a great idea, since it allows employers to pay waiters extremely low: to the point where they pay as low as $2.13/hr (source).
Here's my solution; what if we having a rating system instead of having others pay cash? This would be extremely beneficial to the customer(s), allowing them to save money on their meal(s). Indirectly, this would be also beneficial to the company, allowing the customer(s) to spend more money on food: instead of spending that money on the waiter's tip (in terms of money).
Using four stars instead of five helps identify whether the server was good or bad, instead of having the option to rating your server as mediocre. It also helps with the customer(s) choose a more honest question; since it provides less options, making the selection process easier.
Now you might be asking: "How does the server get tips then?". They would get paid based on two factors:
This system would work well since it accurately reflects on the customer's satisfaction, along with not having to use more money on their dining experience.
The only downside I could see from this is that the customers could lie and say that the waiter was extremely good/bad, but being the complete opposite. Either way, I think this would be better for the restaurant industry for both the customers and employers.
But do you think that this system would be good? Let me know in my discord server down below, thanks for reading!! :D
Leap days and pi day are easily my two most favorite numerical dates, they're so unique and go hugely unnoticed. Similar to the fourth of May, I celebrate 2/29 and 3/14 with great passion
They're both days that go hella unappreciated, I would like to at least give them a honorable mention in this blog <3
Helvetica
Verdana (Tohoma is similar)
Times New Roman (Garamond is similar)
Trebuchet MS
Impact
Papyrus and Comic Sans are also some of my favorites, but these are the main ones I really like that are built into HTML.
The font for this paragraph (and the majority of the other blogs) is Georgia; mainly because I think it's the most pleasant to the eyes when reading. The header font is Times New Roman, the headers on the buttons are Verdana, and the buttons are Helvetica.
(if you couldn't tell i really enjoy learning about different fonts)
Hello everyone! This is my first ever website (that I created by scratch) I made online, and I am really really glad that I was able to create this blog!
Originally, I wanted a website just to put my socials all onto one singular platform; to make it easier for others to find me online. After seeing websites like glass beach's (link) old website before the second album, I kinda felt like it would be fun to program my own website; making it feel more personal, unlike other websites which only allow a limited amount of templates.
Honestly, it is pretty easy to learn how to code your own website; I watched two tutorials that were about two and a half hours in total, each covering the basics of HTML and CSS. I would highly suggest making your own website, it's pretty fun!
I don't want to write too much, but I hope my works helps provide inspiration of whatever you're doing in your life currently. Thanks for reading this blog, and have a good day!
